Adele Wells

Finance For Enterprise (FFE) is delighted to announce the appointment of Adele Wells as its new Credit Manager.

Adele joins FFE with an impressive career at Yorkshire Bank, where she advanced through a variety of roles, from Cashier to Branch Manager, and most recently leading the Business Credit underwriting team.

In her new role at FFE, Adele will be responsible for credit underwriting, assisting the team in assessing loan applications of up to £250,000 to support business customers. With a wealth of experience in business credit, she is well-positioned to contribute to FFE’s mission of providing vital financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Adele’s qualifications are the result of decades of hands-on experience. She began her career at the age of 16 with Yorkshire Bank Westgate Wakefield and built her expertise over time. While working, she completed Omega training every three years to retain her accreditation status. Adele’s success is rooted in her deep understanding of banking processes, having risen through the ranks during her years with the bank.

Speaking about her decision to join FFE, Adele said: “I was drawn to Finance For Enterprise after doing some research and discovering its strong company ethos and values. FFE’s position as a niche lender offers a new challenge after my time at a large corporation, and I’m eager to bring my skills and experience to help support SMEs.”

Adding Andrew Austwick, Managing Director at FFE said “Finance For Enterprise is excited to welcome Adele to the team and is confident that her expertise will be invaluable in helping to support business growth across the region.”

Outside of her professional life, Adele is a keen gardener who enjoys walking her dog, travelling, and spending time with her family. She also has a passion for interior design.
