At the 2013 National Enterprise Network awards held at the British Library, London, Donbac has been named the winner of ‘Local Enterprise Agency of the Year’

The awards recognise those members that have worked tirelessly and successfully to establish and maintain recognition and impact within their local communities over the last year.

The award was presented to Donbac by Rekha Mehr, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, due to its ‘impressive year on year growth, a clear emphasis on collaborative working and the provision of a range of activities creating a surplus for reinvestment into the community.  Also with the launch of two new innovative schemes which provide a much needed boost to enterprise in the region and showcase a strong partnership with a new corporate sector partner and one of the regions Local Authorities’.

Donbac’s Managing Director Arthur Foreman commented, “To be ‘highly commended’ runners up last year and winners this year is a fantastic achievement. It recognises the dedication and hard work of everyone involved with Donbac. We are extremely proud of this prestigious award’.
