Finance For Enterprise recently completed a £250,000 loan to Active Wellbeing School based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. The loan allowed the school to open an additional building, meaning that the business can take on a new influx of students. As a result of the loan, the school now has over 45 children that receive high quality support and education to help prepare them for their futures.
The school currently offers a high level of education, support, and activities to children with special needs including ADHD, autism, speech and language difficulties, and social and emotional difficulties. The students are aged between 4 and 11 and get one-to-one support as well as group lessons.
Active Wellbeing school is a SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) certified school with a ‘Good’ OFTSED rating. The recent expansion has also seen the school take on additional staff to assist with the increase in students. By working with the local authorities and having a strong reputation in the local area, Active Wellbeing School have a constant number of referrals to take on new students.
