We’re thrilled to announce that Finance For Enterprise has now lent over £20 million through the second round of the Community Investment Enterprise Fund since it launched last year – a major milestone for the programme and the businesses we support.
The Fund is designed to help SMEs unlock their potential, whether that’s expanding, innovating, or improving services for their communities. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been proud to support a diverse range of businesses, including:
- £250k loan to open an additional site for a swimming school
- £160k growth capital for an immersive digital arts agency
- £250k to a nursing home group to improve their facilities
- £150k loan to a hair & beauty chain to expand their café offerings
- £250k to cover AI software project costs for a mental health care provider
These examples highlight the variety of businesses benefiting from the Fund – all with one thing in common: the ambition to grow and make a difference in their communities.
We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without the support of Lloyds Banking Group, Better Society Capital, and Social Investment Scotland, who have been key partners in making these investments possible.
At FFE, we’re committed to helping businesses realise their ambitions and create lasting impact. Here’s to the next chapter of growth, innovation, and community success!
