£167k Growth Loan | Finance For Enterprise

A West Midlands business specialising in blinds, shutters, and awnings, has secured £167,000 in funding from Finance For Enterprise (FFE).

Founded in 2010 the business has grown from a small, self-serviced office into a thriving enterprise with two offices located in prominent areas of the West Midlands.

The funding comes at a pivotal moment for the business, following a period of sustained growth. Recognising that their existing premises could no longer meet their needs, the owners embarked on a search for a new location that would accommodate a showroom, offices, and warehousing under one roof. After an extensive search, they identified an ideal site in May 2024, which ticked all the boxes for size, location, and potential for future growth.

With the move complete, the focus turned to transforming the new premises into the UK’s largest blinds and shutter showroom. To fund necessary upgrades, including external signage, interior design alterations, customer toilets, and a marketing campaign to launch the showroom, the company turned to Finance For Enterprise for support.

Through the Growth Guarantee Scheme, Finance For Enterprise were able to secure £167,000 in funding.

Tim Daniels, Senior Business Lending Manager at Finance For Enterprise, commented “This was a well-established and profitable business with an outstanding reputation. This funding will help the company achieve organic growth while positioning them for long-term success in the next chapter of their journey.”
