FFE join the East Midlands Chamber

Finance For Enterprise is setting its sights on helping more businesses in North Derbyshire and North Notts after signing up as a member of one of the UK’s largest Chambers of Commerce.

The alternative business funding provider works with start-up and growing businesses, enabling them to access the vital funding needed to achieve their growth ambitions, even if lending has been rejected by traditional High Street banks.

Offering financial support to entrepreneurs and business owners based in the Sheffield City Region, which encompasses Worksop, Chesterfield, Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales, Finance For Enterprise believes that joining the East Midlands Chamber will help more businesses in the region to access the specialist support it provides.

Over the past twelve months alone, Finance For Enterprise has helped more than 300 businesses within the Sheffield City Region to access specialist funding, including Chesterfield-based Original Recipes, which produces a range of handmade terrines and pates. The investment from Finance For Enterprise enabled the company to purchase new kitchen equipment, resulting in a significant increase in production capacity.

Leanne Pilkington, Finance and MI Manager, Finance For Enterprise, said:

“2018 has been a successful year for Finance For Enterprise and we’re excited embrace what the rest of this year has in store. Over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of driven, talented entrepreneurs and business owners to financially support their ambitions. We’re proud to have supported a growing number of businesses in the South of the Sheffield City Region, through our involvement with initiatives like the Derbyshire Times Business Awards and Destination Chesterfield.

“Joining the East Midlands Chamber was the next step in our ambitions to help SME businesses within the region. We also hope to cultivate relationships with other businesses and access new opportunities across the local area.”
